It’s hard to believe it, but this is our one-year anniversary edition for the Multiscreen Buzz newsletter! Where does the time go?

For those of you who are new to Multiscreen Buzz, let me tell you about what it is. In addition to updating you on some of the latest innovations 202’s clients are developing and deploying around the world, we also like to use the newsletter as an avenue for sharing tips on how we’re helping clients create a longer lasting “buzz” around their company and products in target markets.

We’ve just returned from successful visits to Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona and BVE in London. In addition to supporting our clients exhibiting at these shows, it was good to get an update on the latest developments in IoT, AI, VR, and a look ahead to the deployment of 5G in the early 2020s.

At BVE, it was exciting to see the introduction of the Connected Media Europe seminar theater, a zone focused on the connected media landscape and run by our friends at BPL Broadcast. The two-day program featured presentations and panel discussions covering a wide range of issues currently facing the connected media space; the challenge of attracting and retaining customers and how to monetize content were clearly the most pressing topics.

Next month at the 2017 NAB Show, 202 will be working with the BPL team, operating as Connected Media|IP (CM|IP). The CM|IP zone has grown steadily over the past four years and this year it will have over 50 exhibitors, with two seminar theater zones. More details on CM|IP at NAB can be found here:

While we’re on the subject of NAB: We’ve been working with our clients for several weeks now on how to maximize their tradeshow investment and stand out from their competitors in a crowded market. Through media previews and news announcements, thought leadership articles, and press and analyst meetings at the shows, our clients are creating a real buzz, getting global recognition in key digital and print publications, as well as via social media.
